THE CHALLENGE:

This condo needed a fair amount of work before going on the market right away, but my clients had already moved out and were busy with demanding work schedules.

New carpet, fresh paint, minor repairs, and some gorgeous staging were in order. I worked closely with a favorite contractor, and made suggestions for the paint color and carpeting for my clients, who were busy with demanding work schedules. I met with the contractor every day of work, and ensured all was going according to plan.

THE CHALLENGE:

This property was tenant occupied and my seller lived in a different city, unable to personally oversee any pre-sale work on the house.

For various reasons, we couldn’t wait until the tenant had vacated to list the home. I worked closely with the tenants to arrange repairs, such as painting the kitchen cabinets, refinishing the floors, touch up painting, tile repairs, and, of course, staging.

It was challenging to keep everyone happy and get the work done in a timely fashion! But I did it, carefully managing expectations and contractor schedules, personally meeting everyone and overseeing the work. With these updates and the tenants well-timed vacation, I was able to get the house under contract immediately after multiple offers and price escalations!
