Scratch the surface with these questions…. 

• Perhaps you’ve already found the house you love online; but do you know how to navigate the various and time-sentitive steps necessary to making it yours?

• Current market conditions mean you’ll be competing against a dozen or more offers. How do you compete to win? (Hint: it’s not just a matter of price!)

• Are you confident in your ability to make an offer or list at the right price?

• What if something goes wrong or you miss a deadline? Where do you turn? Virginia is a buyer beware state. Can you afford a mistake with enormous legal and financial consequences? My legal insurance covers worst case scenarios.

• What happens if you child knocks over a seller’s precious lamp during a showing or inspection? Did you know my buyer-agency agreement carries with it insurance to cover us in the event of mishaps?

• How comfortable are you dealing with the various parties involved in the transaction? (buyer/seller, buyer/seller’s agent, loan officer, loan processor, home inspector, appraiser, title company, attorney, escrow account holder, surveyor, wood-destroying insect inspector, condo and/or home owners association, etc)

• Are you confident in the 25+ pages of contract documents, disclosures, and hundreds of initials and signatures needed to legally and properly transfer title and ownership to you?
